Thomas McCarthy began working at Campion Center full time in July 2015. He spent the previous eight years as the Assistant Controller for the Society of Jesus of New England. Thomas’ vast knowledge of all aspects of accounting, health benefits, the Social Security system and Jesuit values immediately paid dividends to the Campion Business Office Team.
After earning a Business and Accounting degree from Bay State College, Thomas’ 35-year professional career has seen him garner valuable working knowledge in service industry accounting, retail accounting, and non-profit accounting. As a proud graduate of Boston College High School, Thomas now relishes the opportunity to support some of the men who guided him earlier in life. It seems poetic destiny that Thomas has come full circle to use his Jesuit education to currently be of service to the Jesuits who reside at Campion Center, truly embodying the Jesuit ideal of Cura Personalis, which translates into “care for the entire person.”
Thomas is a dedicated dad and family man who enjoys traveling, concerts and anything involving Boston sports.
